I woke up earlier after my first day in London to have a breakfast. I stayed at Hilton hotel and I think it was a nice hotel to spend 2 nights before my leave to Paris. The first day was tiring enough to put me to sleep until the next morning and missed about 3 times alarms. Yeah probably a jetlag with 6 hours time difference would make us need to adapt for a few days. Lucky enough for us to wake up and preparing ourselves before heading to down floor for breakfast. We had our free breakfast coupons for our first day staying at Hilton hotel near Wembley stadium.
Chese, ham, vegies, pretty much the breakfast I had expected before my arrive at London. I would enjoy having a healthy mixed breakfast of my choice!
A great day needed to be started with a cup of coffee. The breakfast room was big enough and comfortable with Wembley Stadium outdoor view from the window. Luckily I was an hour earlier to start the breakfast before leaving!
We took some baked breads as well with croissant. There was never too late to try everything. The crispness of the bread made me want to have another bites.
I also wanted to have a descent dessert and took peaches, plums, and melon with yogurt topping on top. The freshness and deliciousness like I have never tried before especially the Melon. I have never tasted Melon like an ice cream before. So soft textured and melts away as a I took a bite of it.
Overall staying at Hilton hotel made me happy and wished to come back again in the future. After having breakfast together it’s time to head downstairs for a bus ride to Stonehenge.
Rolls are everywhere on the wide open field. It was beautifully arranged. I love the sightseeing while on the bus and took a lot of pictures of it.
Still on our way to Stonehenge. I forgot precisely how long it took us for the bus trip but I really didn’t mind about it.
The first day still got us like Wowing all things over and over again. Every part of London was just fantastic looking to our very first eyes visiting London on the second day.

We got out map to Stonehenge. Stonehenge is an ancient temple aligned with the movements of the sun. The stone were raised 4500 years ago by sophisticated prehistoric people. English Heritage’s project to transform the setting of Stonehenge returns a sense of context and dignity to this ancient marvel of human endeavour, leaving Stonehenge surrounded by grass and reunited with its ancient approach, the Avenue. The removal of the old visitor facilities will be completed in Summer 2014. Source : Map.
After getting the tickets you will need to ride a small bus to get to the nearby site. Walking on your way a bit to get near to the area. There have already been a lot of people and tourists wandering around the area.
I finally get to take a closer picture of it. The group of stones should somewhat forming a circle from the air or above view. Stonehenge was surrounded by grass in a wide open field. It was during hot summer visitation and I wish it was windy enough to cool me down.
There was just something magical and historic feeling about Stonehenge probably I could perform some magic of time during the night time? Never mind, a better Stonehenge picture with stars at the sky probably would do
Sometimes it’s hard to take a good pictures of it with a lot of people so get yourself a selfie stick to help getting nice pictures of you on your trip. With such crowd it’s almost impossible to get good one, but with a bit of creativity and angle manipulation, you could get descent ones!
Step Into England’s Story, yeah I had done that. Thank you for the great time at Stonehenge. Nice picture. It’s time for some more nice adventures. The trip at London will continue with the next ride to Big Ben.
